A special consignment condition or suitability of which for a particular purpose may deteriorate as a result of unwanted changes in temperature, humidity or delays in delivery. Perishable goods include: - plant products: vegetables and fruits, berries, citrus fruits; - products of animal origin: meat of animals and poultry, fish and seafood chilled and smoked, eggs, including hatching eggs, caviar; - processed products: butter, fats, frozen fruits and vegetables, sausages, canned food, meat products, cheeses, dairy products; - live plants, flowers, seedlings, tubers, seeds; - live fish stock: fry, under yearlings, live eggs. - preserved blood, vaccines, serums, medical and biological drugs, living human organs, frozen embryos.

Basic requirements for transportation:

- availability of dry ice (Dry ice) 5-10 kg. for 1 pallet (stacked between layers of carcass);

- the presence of an awning for meat, size for PAG pallets 3.5 m * 4.5 m, for PLA pallets 2.5 m * 4.5 m.

- phytosanitary certificates of the sending country

- certificate of acceptance of goods from the recipient country.

Basic requirements for transportation:

- Declaration of the consignor;

- Air waybills;

- Invoices, etc.

The special cargo, rules for the carriage of which are established in IATA Resolution 620, Appendix A: "Live Animals Regulation" which came into force in October 1994. An alphabetical list of animals is included in the Rules. The term "live animals" includes live animals, birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, amphibians.

Basic requirements for transportation:

- cages (wood, metal), awning and sawdust under the cages;

- phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin;

- certificate of acceptance of animals from the recipient country.

Bulky cargo includes pipes, separate equipment, cable drums and reels, aircraft engines, automobiles and other cargoes corresponding to this type of special cargo.

Basic requirements for transportation:

- Depending on the nature of the cargo, a classification of dangerous goods is assigned and a shipper's declaration for the carriage of dangerous goods is required.

Special cargo, which are objects or substances that pose a significant risk to the health of people and property during air transportation. The list of cargo hazard classes and their names is contained in the ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air.

Batteries;

Aerosols, gases;

Radioactive substances;

Flammable liquids;

Explosives, etc.

Basic requirements for transportation:

- Declaration of the shipper for dangerous goods;

- Compliance of the cargo of the DG shipment by air (marking, condition of the cargo, etc.).
